PIRU, UN VIAJE DE ORO
Alí, un joven citadino, viaja con su mejor amigo a la sierra del Perú por trabajo. En el camino, su viejo carro se accidenta en el terreno de Herme, una anciana renegona del pueblo de Quri Suncu. Lo que comienza con rechazo se transforma poco a poco en una entrañable amistad, especialmente entre Alí y el niño que vive con ella. El conflicto surge cuando su trabajo le exige desalojarlos para dar paso a un proyecto minero.
Ali, a young city boy, travels with his best friend to the Peruvian highlands for work. On the way, their old car breaks down on the land of Herme, a grumpy old woman from the village of Quri Suncu. What begins with rejection gradually transforms into a close friendship, especially between Ali and the boy who lives with her. Conflict arises when his job requires him to evict them to make way for a mining project.

Director y fundador de Veintiuno Films, con 15 años de experiencia en ficción, publicidad y contenido educativo. Trabajo en Facultad de Comunicación de la Universidad de Lima. Ha dirigido más de 100 piezas para marcas como Diners Club, WWF, McKinsey, Cinemark y L’Bel, combinando visión estética y narrativa estratégica.
Su ópera prima, Pirú: Un viaje de oro, se estrenó en cines en 2023 tras ganar el fondo DAFO. Fue rodada en Cajamarca y alcanzó alrededor de 100 mil espectadores, siendo top 10 nacional del año y ganadora del Festival de Huánuco y nominada a premios nacionales e internacionales.
Director and founder of Veintiuno Films, with 15 years of experience in fiction, advertising, and educational content. He worked at the School of Communication at the University of Lima. He has directed over 100 pieces for brands such as Diners Club, WWF, McKinsey, Cinemark, and L’Bel, combining aesthetic vision with strategic storytelling.
His debut feature film, Pirú: A Golden Journey, premiered in theaters in 2023 after winning the DAFO grant. Filmed in Cajamarca, it reached approximately 100,000 viewers, becoming a top 10 film nationally that year, winning the Huánuco Film Festival, and receiving nominations for national and international awards.
